I had such a wonderful weekend. I really don't want it to be over. Work. *sigh, shakes fist impotently at sky*
Mushrooms, Mary jane, Dial-A-Pizza, Movies, and endless matches of Puzzle Fighter with Ama in mk-d.
Lawdy I do decalre.
I just wish it would fucking RAIN again. It keeps threataning, then refusing to give.
The sky is like a giant tarp filled with water straining to burst out of the confining clouds, but not giving way.
It gives me a headache, the suspense.
I want torrential downpours.
I want Lightening and Thunder and FOG.
I'm waiting on pins and needles.

I think I'm going to start drawing something today.
Maybe a new comic or something.
We'll see what happens.

Ninurta, Sumerian/Mesopotamian thunder god.
The only god I fancied as a child.

oh, and Happy Talk like a Pirate Day.

I love this stuff

I have an enormous collection of 'banned' cartoons, but I found this one on youtube, and it's nice and short so you all don't get bored....

Pretty Portland EveningCollapse )

Today was so busy at work- but it's been a beautiful day and the weather calls for possible thunderstorms (crosses fingers) It makes me want to curl up in a blanket with a kitty, watch cartoons, and drink hot cider.
I reallllly don't want to work tomorrow.
It's gonna be even worse.
Today a hysterical woman brought her dog into my lobby and he had violent diarrhea and vomited everywhere.
I sent her to the emergency hospital but what a fucking mess.
I didn't have to clean it thank master lucifer.
I hate these people for the most part. They're either obssesive and overprotective, or don't give a shit.
Never somewhere inbetween. Or all too rarely, at least.
Fortunately I'm too apathetic towards them to lash out usually.
blanket time.

It's been an absolutely beautiful day. Dark, gloomy looming skies, endless rain and drizzle, getting dark earlier and earlier.... I feel 1000 times better now that I've started taking iron suppliments, too. The only real trouble with this evening was that the weather brings out the crazies in FULL FORCE. Jesus tits, the streets are flooding with the criminally insane! I swear to you they're everywhere I looked tonight.
I went downtown after work to take Ama cookies and pizza and there was this guy (guy a) who got on the bus- Mr. A is using an able-walker to drag his feeble fat body about- he looks like, maybe he's got some spinal injury or something. He sits down, rides a while, gets off---- walks slowly and painfully maybe six feet- stops- turns around, folds up his walker, RUNS back to the bus like a 20 year old, hops onboard, grabs his bag that he forgot, and bolts off. Stops. unfolds his able-walker- hobbles off.
that was just the beginning- I was going to list all of them, but I've lost the will, and the patience. Leave it to say GUARD YOUR CHILDREN. Tweakers twitching like they've got Tourrets- maybe they do? OCD homeless folding and unfolding their sweatshirts with obsessive relish, maniacs yelling "HEY PORTLAND, I LOVE YOU!!!" in the middle of the road, a japanese girl who can't seem to get her mouth shut all the way no matter how hard she tries, jaw drooping in an endless macabre grin.

I don't know.
I love this weather, but it seems like it makes the locals go koo-koo.

Huge photo post, beware! [Jul. 15th, 2006|06:09 pm]
[moooooood |groggygroggy]

So I ended up doing some photography for my friend's band "Disseverance" in my spooky basement
and with the last pictures on the last roll of film I shot, got some photos of me and ama together.
*roll your eyes here*

anyway, here ya go...
Subdued but DemonicCollapse )

I also secretly snapped a picture of this girl I saw walking down Burnside. She was possibly the skinniest living creature I have ever seen. Weirdly enough, this picture does NO JUSTICE to how thin she actually was.
It was fucking creepy...

Here are a couple of the best band photos I took, if anyone's interested:

I hate memes [Jul. 13th, 2006|08:53 pm]
lol, had it coming

You Are A Walnut Tree

You are strange and full of contrasts... the oddball of your group.
You are unrelenting and you have unlimited ambition.
Not always liked but always admired, you are more infamous than famous.
You are aggressive and spontaneous, and your reactions are often unexpected.
A jealous and passionate person, you are difficult in romantic relationships.

GOD'S OUTHOUSE [Jul. 9th, 2006|11:01 pm]
[moooooood |creativecreative]

So I just scanned this, no photoshopping save resizing and a speck I fixed. I took it- umm- several years ago with my Pentax K-1000 35mm real live film camera. Ilford 400 b&w film... The grain is due to low light. The building was too small and isolated to be a church (about 10-15 ft tall not including the cross), but it was in use (there was a trashcan on the side of it that was recently filled.)... It's somewhere off the highway between Vancouver Canada and PDX, I can't remember where.
Anyway, I had no Idea what it was, so I call it "GOD'S OUTHOUSE".
